Earlier on Monday, Kate and William, together and their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, seemed in footage dispatched via social media, in which Kate revealed she was on the “long” road to recovery after finishing her last chemotherapy treatment. The Princess of Wales communal her cancer diagnosis in March.
While the video included family moments with their children, the mosaic also showed William and Kate engaging in public displays of warmth – something that isn’t ordinarily seen with the royal family. Fitzwilliams called seeing the couple in the friendly poses “very special.”
Fitz continued, “From a public point of view, this gave us a vision into [their] private [lives] that we hadn’t seen before. I think it’s exclusive and deeply poignant because I think that what they felt was that it’s one thing to say what you’ve been through or try [to] carry it. And it’s quite another to show understanding, which members of the royal family generally don’t. I think there are important exclusions, and I think this was an omission. It reminds me of the Queen’s comment: ‘Well, protocol is nonsense.’ They make their own rules.”
Kate has kept a low profile during 2024 while concentrating on her health, making only two official public attendances since proclaiming her cancer diagnosis. Kate endured abdominal surgery in January and afterward began chemotreatments.
Kate shared her first update on her forecast back in June, thanking the public and her husband for their ongoing and firm sustenance.
